I am a 23 year old photographer living in South Florida, and have been enjoying taking pictures since I was able to operate a camera. I like to photograph anything and everything, especially if I can light it!
In 2010, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts In Studio Art With Concentration In Photography. That's the long-winded version for "fine art degree". I'm more of a self-learner, and during my studies enjoyed exploring different techniques on my own, such as off-camera lighting, high dynamic range, and long exposures. As satisfying as it is to "just take pictures", I am constantly trying to expand my abilities to find different ways to look at the world, to ultimately capture the most interesting images.
I am inherently a technical person. As a part-time computer programmer, I spend a lot of time analyzing small details and finding ways to solve abstract problems. This directly ties in to the way I photograph, as I love finding creative solutions to the (often more literal) problems in photography.
I'm always interested in new challenges, whether I know anything about it or not. Trying new sports, exploring new environments, or even having a good argument about pointless philosophies. Anything that gets the creative juices flowing!
